Founded in 1962 by Alexander Hadjivagelis under the name ALEX. HADJIVAGELIS SHIPPING AGENCY. The majority of the ships were calling in the area of Chalkis were under its agency, which created a more personal connection with the ship-owners and with all parties involved. Company’s policy has always been to protect and serve in the best possible way customers involved in every case.
The company in 2002 was renamed D. Hadjivagelis & CO Shipping Agency with D. Hadjivagelis as owner. Its staff consists of experienced and responsible persons who quaramtee quick and safe calls of the vessels under our agency.
Since March 2004, the company's activities were extended to Eleusis, Piraeus, Perama, Aspropyrgos, Agioi Theodoroi, Skaramangas,Thessaloniki,Volos and Lavrio in order to serve many shipping companies. New branch offices were enstablished at all above major ports/terminals , without the need of sub-agents such as others in the industry use. On other minor ports, sub-agents are available via D. HADJIVAGELIS & CO SHIPPING AGENCY.
