As a Route Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and monitoring daily truck routes using an advanced routing system.
- Ensuring delivery schedules are met and truck load efficiency targets are achieved.
- Communicating with drivers and the call center to provide updates and resolve routing issues.
- Collecting data and updating systems with key route and delivery information.
The ideal candidate for the position of Route Planner will have:
- A degree from a university, technical institute, or private college (a focus on Supply Chain Management is a plus).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good command of the English language.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a 3PL company.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving ability.
- Adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and team spirit.
