Warehouse Logistics Manager

Trenkwalder is seeking, on behalf of its client, a supermarket chain, a Warehouse Manager.

Position Purpose: Ensures the smooth, proper, and safe operation of the company's warehouses, taking into account the company's strategy, policies, and values.

Annual Goals

• Knows, adheres to, and implements the company's commercial policy within the scope of his/her responsibilities.
• Knows, adheres to, and implements the company's corporate values in all directions.
• Knows, adheres to, and implements the Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Prepares the annual expense budget of his/her Directorate accurately and on time, and submits it to General Management.
• Closely monitors the progress of the qualitative and quantitative targets assigned by General Management.
• Is aware of and analyzes the causes of any deviations from the expected results.
• Actively supports every new numerical target set by the company.

• Responsibilities – Job Duties:
• Ensures the timely and accurate ordering of products from suppliers, taking into account stock levels, product flow, purchase orders (from procurement), and seasonal product activities.
• Ensures the proper and timely receipt of products from suppliers according to the receiving schedule, adhering to quality and quantity control procedures.
• Ensures the proper and timely return of products to suppliers, based on the product return schedule per supplier
• Ensures the proper and timely inspection of product expiration dates and the implementation of the FIFO (First In, First Out) process.
• Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of orders per customer, based on the priority of delivery routes.
• Ensures the accurate and timely invoicing and verification of order shipments to customers.
• Ensures the efficient scheduling of delivery routes based on the volume of orders.
• Ensures the safe operation of trucks and all warehouse equipment.
• Makes proposals and resolves issues.
• Ensures the timely destruction of expired products according to procedure.
• Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of order loading and shipment.
