Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, using their names when known.
• Manage table reservations and walk-ins efficiently using the restaurant’s booking system.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus with elegance and confidence.
• Maintain a polished, elegant, and approachable appearance at all times.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods and manage guest expectations.
• Liaise effectively with the service team to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Keep the reception and entrance area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints gracefully, escalating to management when necessary.
• Be fully informed of daily specials, events, and VIP guest arrivals.
• Assist with cloakroom service, special occasion setups, or personalized guest touches as needed.
• Ensure a luxurious and consistent guest experience aligned with SANDBLU standards.
• Participate in daily briefings and trainings to stay aligned with service excellence goals.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications / Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant is essential (minimum 1–2 years).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is a strong asset.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, polite, and efficient under pressure.
• Team-oriented mindset with a guest-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine interest in creating memorable guest experiences.
