Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Culinary Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Pastry Chef De Partie is responsible to carry out kitchen duties whilst ensuring smooth, coordinated team effort in the pastry. The Pastry Chef De Partie reports to the Pastry Junior Sous Chef.
As Pastry Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Report operational issues to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
- Attend all training sessions and participate in special events, promotions, and demonstrations.
- Maintain a clean, presentable uniform and ensure personal hygiene.
- Work closely with the pastry team on daily operations and food quality control.
- Ensure proper pastries’ handling and inspect incoming goods.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
