Legal & Compliance Advisor

Description

lmw is seeking for a dynamic Legal & Compliance Advisor, on behalf of a leading financial institution in Athens.

Main Responsibilities:

• Research, evaluate and report risk factors related to compliance and AML fields
• Monitor developments related to these fields, prepare and propose modifications in company's policies, processes and practices
• Handling of specialized legal Issues in cooperation with in-house legal team
• Follow assignment by management, perform legal research by utilizing various resources and reports findings accordingly
• Review agreements, contracts and other documents to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory framework

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law with further education in Commercial or Banking Law; special exposure in Compliance and AML issues will be a prerequisite
• At least 2 years of proven professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the Banking or Servicers Industry
• Strong computer skills
• Fluency in English
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Corporate Law
