ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cashier at House of NYNN, you will play a crucial
role in managing customer transactions efficiently while delivering a premium
service experience. Your key responsibilities will cover the following areas:
Transaction & Payment Management
- Operate POS systems (Micros) to process various forms
of payment, including cash and credit cards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure all member charges are correctly posted to
accounts and reconcile payments with precision.
- Monitor and prevent discrepancies in transactions,
reporting any inconsistencies to management.
- Prepare daily reports and reconcile cash and credit
card transactions.
Member & Guest Experience
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to club
members and their guests.
- Assist with table reservations, seating arrangements,
and coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle special requests, such as event billing or
split checks, with attention to detail and discretion.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and
surrounding areas.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and club
policies.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to enhance the
overall dining experience.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- High school diploma or
equivalent.
- Prior experience as a cashier in
a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong customer service and
communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing POS
systems and handling financial transactions.
- Professional demeanor with
excellent attention to detail.
