Optimal, on behalf of its client, a leading organization in
the food production and trading sector, is seeking to recruit a dynamic and
results-oriented Operations Manager to be based in Thessaloniki.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all plant operations,
ensuring alignment with sales, distribution, inventory, and overall company
goals.
- Manage and continuously improve systems for
resource planning, material procurement, and workforce efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic
operational plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs and oversee team
performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Department to
supervise procurement planning, ensuring timely and cost-effective material
availability.
- Work closely with the Finance Department on
budgeting, cost monitoring, and support of CapEx & OpEx proposals.
- Organize and monitor regular warehouse inventory
counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Foster close collaboration with all departments
(e.g., R&D, Procurement, IT) to ensure alignment of operational priorities.
- Promote a high-performance culture through
leadership, coaching, hands-on involvement, continuous improvement, and
accountability.
- Ensure production goals are aligned with sales,
distribution, and inventory targets.
- Identify bottlenecks in the production process and
implement Lean/Kaizen practices to optimize flow.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Production
Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of proven experience in a similar
role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of operations management,
manufacturing KPIs, and organizational effectiveness.
- Experience in designing and implementing business
processes and operational policies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
and oversee multiple departments.
- Capability to identify training needs and support
employee development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
with the ability to influence across functions.
- Sound decision-making skills, especially under
pressure and in complex environments.
