Events Service Manager
The Event Services Manager is
responsible for managing banquet events at the hotel. This person
supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet
functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed role within the
hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for
guests.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute
flawless events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with clients to
understand their event requirements and ensure their vision is brought to life.
- Manage event logistics, including
venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations.
- Oversee a team of event
coordinators and staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strong
relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners.
- Monitor event budgets and
negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer
service to exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Hospitality
Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in
event planning or management, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event management
software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for creating memorable
experiences for guests.
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs
of others in a fast paced environment.
- Must be highly organized, results
oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a
fast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to handle challenging
situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgement.
- Strong leadership capabilities,
with developed communication and listening skills.

commitments across multiple departments and roles.
