Job Overview:

Our client is a highly regarded private clinic specializing in plastic surgery and cosmetic medicine. With a strong reputation for excellence, it is recognized as one of the leading centers of its kind in Greece. As demand grows, the clinic is expanding its surgical offerings and seeks a General Surgeon to complement its established plastic & cosmetic practice.

This role is ideal for a General Surgeon who enjoys a mix of core general surgical procedures while collaborating with a high-volume plastic and cosmetic surgery team.

Now, let us see how your typical workday looks like:

• Perform a range of general surgical procedures
• Provide pre-operative evaluation, intraoperative management, and post-operative follow-up for general surgery patients
• Collaborate closely with plastic & cosmetic surgeons on combined or staged procedures when clinically indicated
• Contribute to clinical quality, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards
• Document care accurately in the clinic’s medical record system and support outcomes tracking for quality improvement

The skills and competencies for this role are:

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent)
• Board certification/board eligibility in General Surgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Greece is mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of English language
• Demonstrated competence in common general surgical procedures
• Strong communication and team-collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and critical thinking

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with lipedema diagnosis and treatment pathways; interest in surgical collaboration involving liposuction for medically indicated cases is a strong advantage
• Experience or interest in hair transplant procedures
