in search of: Chef De Partie
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest
standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the resort’s recipes and
standards.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere
to established procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to
ensure availability of ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene
standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to
develop new menu items and specials.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism
and a positive attitude.
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events and
banquets.
- Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in
a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting. (preferred but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional
food quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple
tasks with ease.
- Fluency in English.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
