Sales Engineer (Lighting Industry)

on behalf of its client, a Greek manufacturer with specialization in design of lighting
products and solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineer.

What you will do:
The purpose of this role is to drive
sales and revenue growth by enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring that
lighting solutions meet both functional and aesthetic goals. You will be
responsible for managing projects by fostering relationships with clients and offering
customized, energy-efficient, and cost-effective lighting solutions.
More Specifically:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships
with key B2B customers
- Act as the main point of contact for key
accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Understand customer’s business needs and
objectives
- Visit customers stores. Arrange meetings
with customers to discuss topics regarding business flow, cooperation,
targets, and growth plan
- Identify opportunities for account growth
and upselling
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop
strategies for increasing revenue from key accounts
- Support actively project business
- Ensure effective communication between the
company and key customers
- Inform customer for present or future phase
out products, successors, new portfolio
- Maintain customer account receivables in
cooperation with credit control
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key
customers
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or electrical
engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in indirect or direct sales,
ideally in the lighting industry
- Proven track record of expanding the client base and delivering
projects
- Fluency in Greek and English language (written and
spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Technical knowledge of lighting system is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel
