THE ROLE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking to
recruit professionals for the position of Sales Manager. The objectives of this
professional are to aim future business through travel accounts etc for all
Domotel Hotels & Resorts venues, to work directly with key decision makers
and vendors (Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, DMCs etc), handling inquiries for
accommodation and/or meetings and events, maintain and exceed sales targets within
deadlines, whilst offering a very high level of customer service. The ideal
candidate should be a self-driven professional with excellent knowledge of the
hotel industry and all distribution channels, with high standards in customer
service, positive attitude and creative thinking, excellent communication skills, able to
operate effectively in the context of a high pace working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Travel Accounts.
- Have excellent knowledge of the hotels’ business strategies, set goals and determine action plans to achieve them.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through existing products or services by researching new markets for existing products or identifying new product opportunities.
- Determine pricing strategies for products or services based on customer needs and available resources.
- Identify, develop and manage accounts within group segments and markets that meet each property’s sales strategy.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
- Have excellent products knowledge, negotiate rates and communicate benefits to the clients.
- Present and sell available and suitable travel options to the highest possible standard.
- Provide excellent account management to drive customer loyalty.
- Develop new business through phone calls, daily sales calls, site inspection trips to the hotels with travel customers, trade shows, sales blitzes, direct mail, media research and other customer interaction methods.
- Identify low activity periods and undertake comprehensive scheduling of sales activity to secure new and ad hoc business.
- Actively, quickly and timely manage inquires, requests and responses, provide immediate communication to the properties, record denials, make network referrals.
- Handle complex information gathering and effectively arrange, promote and sell our products.
- Coordinate with the F/O departments of the hotels and develop strong relationships with their teams to ensure that each step of the sales process runs smoothly, working in unity and striving to achieve the same goals.
- Responsible for achieving targets and goals within area of responsibility.
- Represent the hotels in various events and exhibitions.
- Accompany the sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in the development of the account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales persons.
