Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Process and execute payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, overtime, deductions, and benefits
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records, employee files, and reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Monitor and manage employee leave balances (vacation, sick leave, personal leave, etc.)
• Prepare and submit ERGANI declarations in compliance with Greek labor legislation
• Ensure full compliance with tax and labor laws, staying informed on any regulatory changes
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and leave balances
• Collaborate on the development and improvement of payroll policies, processes, and internal controls
• Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll-related operations

The ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist position should have:

• University/College Degree (studies in finance or accounting is a strong plus)
• 2-3 years in a similar position 
• Experience in payroll processing with a strong understanding of payroll procedures and regulations
• Experience with payroll systems, familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Highly proficient in MS Office Applications
• Excellent knowledge of ERGANI II
