Optimal, on behalf of its client, a dynamic and technology-driven IT company, is looking for an IT Support-Helpdesk Technician, based in Athens.
Responsibilities:
- First-level technical support and troubleshooting
- Maintenance and support of IT infrastructure and end-user devices
- Preparation, configuration, and deployment of laptops and workstations
- User support via phone, email, in person, and through remote tools
- User account setup and basic administration (e.g., Active Directory)
- Documentation of technical issues and creation of knowledge base entries
- Basic network support (LAN/WAN, VPN) and IT inventory management
- Coordination with vendors and service providers for hardware and software needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role
- Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server environments (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT security best practices
